I worked as a writer on the Narrative team. My primary responsibilities were developing the other characters Beira would interact with, writing item descriptions, and writing scripts for game cutscenes and events. The game will be published on Steam in the near future.

The biggest events or cutscenes in the game happen when the player picks up special items called "Echoes". Rather than giving Beira a powerup, these items were very important to Beira in her past, and trigger special memories about how she ended up here.
The scripts to the left outline two separate memories. The first being where she pulls out a box of a streamers at the beginning of the game, and the second when she picks up a snow globe toward the end of the game.
The common items you could find in each loop were used for power ups, but it was important the flavor text of these items still told the player information about the world and about Beira. The table below shows some of the in game items and the flavor text I wrote for it. Item names in red mean the item did not make it into the final game.
